Bio
Hi I’m Liz Drury, a freelance voiceover artist, dog Mum to Marble the lurcher, and maker of the world’s best chocolate brownies (probably). I also have a PhD in Archaeological Science which comes in handy for voicing technical scripts or anything historical.
I've been working in voiceover since 2013 and my voice can be described as confident, intelligent and assured, with a naturally soothing quality.
I work from my broadcast quality home studio for clients around the world (every continent except Antarctica last time I checked) and my voice has been used by some well-known companies including Hilton, JCB, Danone, Nestlé, de Beers and many others.
I work across a number of voiceover genres including commercials, corporate narration, explainer videos, e-learning, audio tours, documentaries, announcements for events, and voicemail greetings and on-hold messages.
I often get asked what my most unusual job has been, and it was probably when I was asked to record the voice of a talking train that was taking children to see Father Christmas at a farm park! That was also one of my favourite jobs to date.
I’m easy on the ears, easy to work with, and I’d love to be the voice of your next project.
